I have Asheville, NC listed as my home. The time displayed on the fullscreen map is correct, but instead of highlighting the US Eastern time zone, it's highlighting the Central time zone.

Is it off by a lot? Note that we greatly simplified the timezone borders in order to make them fit in the small map.

One more thing that could cause this problem are the daylight savings. Most computers simply add an hour to their GMT offset for daylight savings. It could be your computer doesn't. What does the small GMT offset indicate? It's located at the top-right of the time in the fullscreen MappedUp. It should be GMT-5 ..

new york is also off by one. mine says gmt -5

San Francisco is correct.... as usual :)

down here in Sydney, Australia, the time now is 18:30, But it display 20:30, two hours in advance

Jeroenw (Aug 18, 2006):

wow, that's not OK. I suppose the clock does display the correct time, but the timezones are off?

You don't have daylight savings right now of course, while the script does add them from april to september. Hmmm, back to the drawing board...
