MappedUp receives 869 Diggs
It's been a week since Jeroen's graduation, when a new challenge presented itself. The WhatsUp application was featured on Digg.com resulting in: a whopping 869 diggs, a frontpage position, 20.000 hits in two hours and the death of Jeroen's server.
Encouragement
Luckily, the little server problem was fixed after having moved the application to one of FKKC's servers. Despite the crash, the DIGG success was an encouragement to start transforming the WhatsUp gadget into a useable webservice.
