MappedUp moving to Beta
Following the good-old Web2.0 tradition, MappedUp today moved to public beta! The entire website is publicly available, but the amount of accounts that can be created is limited for the time being, so be quick! We'll probably do a month of testing with a couple of accounts to get rid of the most annoying bugs and usability issues. After that, we'll be ready to receive more account requests.

Note that, without an account, you can also download the MappedUp application for your screensaver, active desktop, site or blog. You just won't be able to personalize the feeds displayed in the application for now. Instead, the application will show the default headlines from all over the world.
Updates
Besides the soon-to-come move from beta to public release, a couple of bugfixed releases of both the application and website are also prone to come. So please keep a close eye on this website opr subscribe to our RSS news feed to automatically receive update notifications.
